What is NEWSTART^® Health Expo?

NEWSTART Health Expo is a newly packaged health Expo from Weimar Center of Health & Education. The concept is to offer people a free “health check up” and to reach people’s needs in their communities.

A NEWSTART Health Expo is arranged at a local shopping center, or similar venue, and offers people free health screenings, tests, information and counseling by professionals on everything from diabetes to weight management.

A NEWSTART Health Expo will feature screenings for blood pressure, lung capacity, body-fat analysis, cholesterol, glucose, Harvard step test, NEWSTART – HealthGauge™ Health Score Calculator, and free anti-stress massages.

NEWSTART Health Expo is focusing on eight stated main factors related to disease prevention and physical and mental health. These are: Nutrition, Exercise, Water, Sunlight, Temperance, Air, Rest, and Trust in divine power. Each factor is addressed in detail at the health Expo using a combination of color posters with up-to-date medical information, screening tests, and health counseling.
